要想在既不加重學生的負擔又不影響教學質量的前提下,在語文教學中充分挖掘環境教育的內容,將語文教育和環境教育結合起來才是最好的辦法。教師在教學中應該根據課本內容,以保護環境為目標,有意識、有目的地在教學中滲透環境教育。小學課本里面有很多滲透環境教育的課文,如《春雨的色彩》《秋天的圖畫》《日月潭》等,教師在講解這些課文時可以采用多媒體教學插入一些圖片,讓學生得到美的享受,同時也感受到中國大好河山的美麗和偉大,讓學生產生護美的欲望。另一方面,向學生傳遞人與自然和諧相處的保護環境的意識。在學習《雪地里的小畫家》《父親和鳥》等課文時,引導學生在腦海里展開人和動植物和諧相處的美好畫面。最后再將現在的環境狀況告訴學生,讓他們產生危機感。如在學習《食物從何而來》的時候,讓學生明白如果破壞了食物鏈,這個環節上的任何生物都不能活下去;在《只有一個地球》的教學中,讓學生牢記破壞生態環境的慘痛教訓,發自內心地自覺去保護環境。
二、作文教學中滲透環境教育
作文是語文教學的一個重要環節,因此將環境教育滲透到作文教學中,以此來增強學生的環境保護意識,是一個可行的辦法。首先,教師可以讓每個學生寫“環境保護的日記”,讓他們記下自己每天為保護環境所做的事情,哪怕是保護小動物、隨手關燈等非常細小的生活小事。讓他們時刻提醒自己。要求學生從自我做起,從小事做起,時間長了就會讓學生對保護環境形成一種習慣,從而領悟到保護環境的可貴。

雖然小學語文教材中有很多涉及到環境的詩文,但還是無法滿足可持續發展的環境教育的需要。因此需要教師多開展一些實踐活動,豐富學生環境教育的內容。一方面,教師可以借助現代多媒體的應用,為學生播放一些具有環境教育意義的影片、新聞報道等,讓學生更加形象地感受到保護環境、維持生態平衡的重要性。另一方面,組織大家開展保護環境的公益活動。讓學生運用自己所了解到的關于環境保護的知識,親自參與宣傳活動和體驗活動。通過他們的實際參與來激發他們對美好環境的渴望和對惡劣環境的厭惡之情,以此來增加他們保護環境的自覺性和與人合作交流的能力,同時也為寫作積累了素材,提高了語文能力。
四、通過多種形式進行多角度環境教育
小學語文教師可以通過開展以“環境保護”為主題的班會、晨會等多種形式的教育活動,對學生進行多角度、多方位、多層次的教育。組織學生開展環保知識競賽活動,通過比賽更多地了解保護環境的基本知識和方法;同時也要開展普及環境教育的講座,豐富學生的環保知識。在植樹節、世界環境日可以帶學生去參加一些環境保護的活動,增強學生的環保意識。
