As the official journal of the Institute of Nautical Studies, Mariners Mirror is not only an important reference for nautical enthusiasts and professionals, but also an important platform to promote the study of maritime history and culture. The journal is dedicated to encouraging and facilitating in-depth research on topics such as seafaring activities, shipbuilding techniques, maritime languages and customs in various historical periods on a global scale. It covers the history of navigation from ancient to modern times, exploring the contributions and influences of different countries and cultures in the field of navigation.

Through the publication of high-quality academic papers, research reports and review articles, it provides a multi-disciplinary and multi-perspective communication platform for navigation research. It not only focuses on traditional navigation technology and history, but also focuses on the development and application of modern navigation technology, such as satellite navigation, Marine resource development and Marine environmental protection.
